It has been 3months since my last post. What have we been up to? not much except busy preparing the house for raya & the new baby. And oh, Alhamdulillah i finally popped two weeks ago, Wednesday a.m @ 22nd September 2010 to a healthy 3.240kg baby girl! will post up the pixy soon aytes.

What have we done to the house? We've been a wall-sticker-addict for the whole ramadhan, not just adee & me, sya as well! hihi we've put up some at the tv area & the dining area. The rest we put up in sya's room (with the help of the lil princess as well ofcourse).

Anyhoos, m done talking. i'll just post up few pixies for you to get the idea what we've been up to for the past few mths k. adios~

I went off to a clinic @ qlap last night as i was feelin under the weather - coughs & running nose. I was given 5 different types of meds and a two days mc. Went home, gulped my meds & off to bed. Around 4am, my hands felt numb and somehow weird..i was less worried as i was too sleepy (side-effects of the coughing meds i guess!)

Anyhoos, this morning, both my hands were a bit itchy, red and looks swollen. i didn't bother much as this happened before. so i guesses, it should be the meds i took last nyte. I'm having an ante-natal appointment the same day, so i planned to inform the staff nurse during the meetings. so i did. guess what? the dr asked to see me, examined my hands and decided to transfer me to RIPAS! I was speechless as i thought this is just a minor thingy. She asked the nurse to call up an ambulance but i insist to go by myself as dear hub was there with me. We were asked to go straight to ER that very hour (it was exactly midday). As we arrived, i passed the ER staff the letter from my dr and i was ushered to go into a room where they checked my bp & asked me to wait for the dr. After half an hr, i was given a shot & 5 tablets! They asked me to rest for an hr before the next review. An hr & a half later, the dr came in and examine me again. my hands are still red but the swollen are slowly reducing *Alhamdulillah*
Then the dr passed me to the dermatology for another review. it has been ages since i last went there! i was on a push chair from ER to the dermatology building (how embarassing! haha) there, i was ushered to a female malay dr, she examines me, prescribed me just 1 type of med & asked me to come in again on monday. GAH!

despite the four long hours at RIPAS, Alhamdulillah all are well..i'm well and most importantly, bump's in good condition & kicking as well. :)

I remembered the first time my dad bought me a roller-skate. It was red & gawgess! *hee* I used to skate day & nyte after that! =) *love u babah, may Allah bless you*
Last thursday, sya got her first new barbie roller-skate and she was really really excited! When the box came (mamash delivered it ofcourse!), sya was asleep. She woke up arnd 1am & discovered the box. She insist to skate at that very moment! HAHA thankfully daddy's home as i was too sleepy to assist lil princess to roll! She surely love the skate cos she skates til 3.30am! *yawn~*

Anyhoos, thank you aunty N for the skates! She adores 'em much much! xx from Sya.

It has been a WHILE since i last post! Hey peeps, i'm baaaccckkk~~ back with a bump! *hee* yep, i am now one preggy mommy, 25 weeks preggy to be exact! I'm due by end of September = 2nd week of Aidilfitri (which also equals to no raya celebration for me, save $ beli kek raya! yiippeee...HAHAHA)

i somehow lost my glasses & can't seem to remember when was the last time i had em! ve been thinking of getting a new pair actually but can't seem to find the right time..saw this one very very cool frame in Miri last time but i forgot what brand it was. so i went google-ing it since the past few days already but no luck~ To my surpise, i somehow, finally found THE picture! *yiiippeee* kudos gurL~

The brand's called "PARASITE" and the model i'm looking for is "HYBRID". No, they are not from Matrix, nor monster vs aliens or watsoever..hee~ checked out a few of their sunglasses & it is amazingly cool! i soooo want one!!! Anyhoos, i'm just wondering if they have this brand here in Brunei as i may be going off to miri this friday. so it'll be easier for me to compare the *ka-ching*!

Dear hubs has applied for govt housing last year & thankfully he was granted a place around berakas area. Forms has been filled & all we need to do is wait. A year has passed, and still no news was heard. Adee has gone back and forth to JPA to query about the house & yet, everytime, the same answer was given. We were so longing to have our own place (and space especially), as going to & fro my in-law's and my mum's place every week is very exhausting (plus, angkat2 ours & sya's stuffs lagi..) Ever heard an old saying : Three's a crowd?! Indeed it was & still is! One room can afford us two, but not us three..We soooo need our own *Home sweet Home* asap!

We would be soo grateful & feel more blessed if the place kena bagi before this coming festive season ah. we've bought sofas & a few furnitures sdh earlier sal we kena promised, by 1st week August the keys will be distributed to the applicants. Unfortunately, it is now 2nd week of september.. and our furnitures atu mstuffed-kan lagi my in-law's living room :(

My 'old-time' favourite dish

1.Wash glutinous rice till water runs clear, place in a container and add water to cover 5 cm (2 in) above level of rice. Add the alsaline water(air kapor), mix well and evenly and leave to soak for 4 hours.

2.Rinse rice and pour into a colander and drain well. Set aside for 20 minutes.

3.Heated banana leaf over stove for a while to make it soft and easy to fold onto a triangular shape .

4.Pack the rice firmly and tie the leaf to resemble a big sambosa.

5.Or you may used rolling pin to roll the banana leaf from end to end and atleast double layered. This will shape like a bolster pillow. Removed rolling pin then tie end part with raffia string very tight. Fill glutinous rice 3/4 full and tight the other end part and the middle part too.

6.Put a low steaming rack at bottom of a large saucepan. Add water and bring it to the boil. Put in the lopis, and boil over constant high heat for 3 hours. Water level in saucepan should always be 8-10 cm above the lopis. Add boiling water from time to time.

7.Remove lopis to cool. Untie and use wet knife to slice lopis fairly thickly.

To boil the syrup:

Grate the palm sugar, add sugar, water, screw pine leaves and boil in a saucepan for 10 minutes till syrup is fairly thick.

To serve:

Mix the salt evenly with the grated coconut. For each serving, put 2 slices of lopis on a plate, and 2 tablespoons of grated coconut on top. Pour some syrup and serve.

It's April again! Time for dressing up & go crazy~ yep, it's DST 14th Anniversary & da theme was "1001 Arabian Night" ...& I am cleopatra! for the nyte~ huhuhu :D

We arrived almost an hour late pasal it was pouring heavily that nyte. We sat at the front-side tables, where Nor & the rest was waiting, kan ngambil da foods. After our trip mengaut2, back to our seats, i requested for the drinks for myself & the others. The waiter was handing out for the drinks, sekalinya...he spilled drinks yg on his tray atu on me! YES, ON ME!!! stupid, stupid waiter! I was in rage!! All he said was "sori..sori.." after that lari tia! Waiter palui..! Mana courtesy durang as a so-called 5 STAR HOTEL ahh?? *dumb-ass!* Anyways..(inhaling & exhaling) after cleaning up & drying off my dress pakai hand-dryer in da washroom, {thanks Em!} i'm all good but bad mood lah jadinya...long story short, i dint win anything that nyte. awal sudah 'sui'! stupid waiter! hee majal~

Oh well~maybe next year?! *winks*

Last weekend was a very very bad weekend for all 3 of us anak beranak. Sya was admitted in RIPAS last saturday, 21stFeb'09, charged wif dehydration due to lack of food & fluids which started from a high fever! It really broke my heart watching her being pricked wif needles here & there. Sya needs to be dripped, she lost her appetites since the fever started & antibiotics needs to be injected into her veins cos she suffers a mini-infections which i believed came from the chlorine in the swimming pool which we went last weekend nya!.

Sya was admitted @ Ward1 & oh my gawd, it was a torture!!! not only we pity sya but we pity ourselves sal it was SO hard to get a gud nyte sleep on the 1st nyte! but Thank god my sis brought us jolie (sp?), senang sikit...The 2nd nyte was a bit okay..sya slept early, arnd 10ish, at least we relaxed a little..I was jumping in joy when the Dr sed we can go back home the next day! :)

Adee somehow got his asthma, myself & poor baby sya came down wif a flu..I was given a 2 days mc from the clinic & unfortunately need to get another day for emergency leave as sya's flu worsen early this morning. Anyhoos, we won 7th place - tix to KK + 3D2N stay (*yays* 1borneo, here i coommee~~~~!)
Abang & Hj Lani won 6th - tix to Surabaya + 3D2N stay,
SIL Wati & Nana won 5th - tix to Bangkok + 3D2N stay
& our last team, Mike & Paris (not the Hiltons tho! hihi) won 3rd - tix to Manila + 3D2N stay. Awesomeness!!!

off to Utama bowling last nyte for BFF (BruneiForeverForum) 1st bowling tournament wif boo. Got teamed up wif boo, Muris & Eric. My 1st game was a disaster! I only managed to score 78 points! (bikin malu...hehe) My 2nd game was a bit better, scored an exact 100! at least huh.. ;) Boo was suffering from a thigh pain, oh wait, no.. suffering from the whole left leg! Thankfully he came prepared - one plastic bag of muscle pills & heat rubs hihihi The tournament finished before 10pm, our team won the 1st place & boo got the top scorrer (sp.?!)

Had my annual leave for a week! Last wednesday, off to jalan-jalan wif sya da whole day then off to Miri wif Adee & sya the next day and stayed overnyte til Friday. It was a very tiring weekend! Ate my secret recipe, drank my starbucks, bought THE 'Remember Me' book, wat else ah...hmm~~anyways, we had a great family outing. Wish we could do that more often! m too tired to type..(maseh Jet lag kali! hihihi) Back to work this Tuesday! *borengs~~*

Went out to bring sya jalan-jalan last nyte. Off to Huaho Tg.Bunut, there's this one game arcade on the 1st floor. You know that animal rides u used to see at The Mall? There's quite a few dsana but it's a bit bigger & amazingly it caters adults as well! Sya went on wif daddy on one pink giraffe (or was it a dino? *confused*) guess who's yg iski? yep, the daddy! *lol*

Got my crocs today from Abi. He was kind enuff to send off the sandal to my office this afternoon just before he went back to KB. My crocs is soooo lawa~~~~ & PINK! hehehe *thank you abster!*

Anyhoos, Manja is now in spore jua! wana try my luck again for that pooh shoes (as i was still geragitan wif it) So, i called up spore & asked them to check for me which branch in spore yg got the stock. The guy, Jason (i think lah) from crocs vivo city, asked me to call back within half an hour. So I did..and to my amusement, they DO HAVE stock but only @ MARINA SQ, MARINA BAY. This is the best part, Manja's hotel is somehow connected with Marina sq!!! so the very lucky lh me! *LOL* I was too excited & god knows how wide my smile was tadi atu (ani pun maseh lagi!)

Manja texted me arnd 4pm, told me she got the shoes sdh & i'll be seeing her this coming saturday! weeee~~~~ thnx Manj! u'r da best! *hugs*

Yesterday, brought sya to fringe her hair sal the hair panjang sdh kena mata. Went to InComm wif my two sis, bayu & amoy, then i saw a small salon nearby. We went in n sat sya on this tiny sub-stool (?) hehe The chinese lady started to cut her hair n thankfully sya sat there saja tecengang liat the chinese lady (i wonder what sya's thinking lookin at her haha) It only cost me $2 to fringe her hair (how i wish my haircut is dat cheap! hehe)

A fren of mine, Abi, is in singapura @ da mo..so, i asked him to buy me one (two actually) thing from my many many wishlist items - CROCS slippers for me & a pair of shoes for Sya - not just any shoe, a WINNIE THE POOH shoe! we've been wearing crocs since 2006 n m loving every minute of it! haha Anyhoos, hope Abi find them today as he's leaving spore tonite! *finger-crossings* kalau inda pun, tepaksa th tunngu our next family hols which wil be in july next yr!!! *aarrgghh lama nye~~*

UPDATES : Abi just called. He got my crocs! yipee~~ but unfortunately, sya's shoes yang wala! *boo hoo* They stopped distributing it sal nda laku! A few days ago, a friend of mine showed me his new instant Polaroid camera. It was awesome! It reminds me of my own old Polaroid set! Came to think of it, i can't recall where i put it. bought it back in 1995 (wow, it's been tooo long!)
You know the feeling when u can't find something that u USED TO 'care-less' about? That's what m feeling now! i've searched EVERYWHERE for it & still it's nowhere to be found!!! Shud i look some more? or better yet, let's buy a NEW ONE!!! *yays* (just one alasan to go S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G) hee~~
