one busy m.c !

I went off to a clinic @ qlap last night as i was feelin under the weather - coughs & running nose. I was given 5 different types of meds and a two days mc. Went home, gulped my meds & off to bed. Around 4am, my hands felt numb and somehow weird..i was less worried as i was too sleepy (side-effects of the coughing meds i guess!)

Anyhoos, this morning, both my hands were a bit itchy, red and looks swollen. i didn't bother much as this happened before. so i guesses, it should be the meds i took last nyte. I'm having an ante-natal appointment the same day, so i planned to inform the staff nurse during the meetings. so i did. guess what? the dr asked to see me, examined my hands and decided to transfer me to RIPAS! I was speechless as i thought this is just a minor thingy. She asked the nurse to call up an ambulance but i insist to go by myself as dear hub was there with me. We were asked to go straight to ER that very hour (it was exactly midday). As we arrived, i passed the ER staff the letter from my dr and i was ushered to go into a room where they checked my bp & asked me to wait for the dr. After half an hr, i was given a shot & 5 tablets! They asked me to rest for an hr before the next review. An hr & a half later, the dr came in and examine me again. my hands are still red but the swollen are slowly reducing *Alhamdulillah*
Then the dr passed me to the dermatology for another review. it has been ages since i last went there! i was on a push chair from ER to the dermatology building (how embarassing! haha) there, i was ushered to a female malay dr, she examines me, prescribed me just 1 type of med & asked me to come in again on monday. GAH!

despite the four long hours at RIPAS, Alhamdulillah all are well..i'm well and most importantly, bump's in good condition & kicking as well. :)
